Entries are open for the 4th Edition of the Jai Chandiram Memorial Community Media Film Festival. The annual festival is organised by the Community Media Trust, Deccan Development Society. This edition is being co-organised with the UNESCO Chair on Community Media with support from UNESCO, New Delhi.
Entries are invited for the 4th Jai Chandiram Memorial Community Media Film Festival from grassroots filmmakers and participatory/community video makers.

Themes:
Climate change, Biodiversity, Agrobiodiversity, Resilient food systems, Sustainable rural livelihoods, and other related subjects.
Who can submit:
Individuals practising participatory video or community filmmaking in India or abroad with video cameras or mobile phones or organisations supporting such practices of grassroots filmmaking. Only films made by Indians will be eligible to compete, while international films can be entered in the non-competitive section.
What to submit:
A film made by grassroots filmmakers, with a clear narrative on any of the themes mentioned. Each individual/organisation may submit one film, each of not more than 20 minutes in duration. Films made during the last two years are eligible to enter.

Prizes:
The top three films judged by a competent jury will win cash prizes. Selected filmmakers will be invited for the festival screenings in Zaheerabad.
